WMATA is facing an unprecedented $750 million budget shortfall this coming year, and is proposing a $4.5 billion capital and operating budget proposal to prepare for a worst-case scenario. Saturday, March 2:

Help restore a hidden gem: Get ready to exercise and spend time in nature with Ward 8 Woods Conservancy to help clean up the woods of Suitland Parkway. On the first Saturday of each month, Ward 8 Woods Conservancy sets out in different areas of the surrounding DC area to remove trash and cut vines along the Parkway.
